Notice: Delays and upcoming schedule announcement

SUNDAY UPDATE: I AM CURRENTLY ALMOST DONE TRANSLATING THE CHAPTER, AND IT WILL BE RELEASED SOMETIME WITHIN THE NEXT 3-4 HOURS!

As college approaches exam days I’ll be getting busier and busier, so here’s how the schedule pans out.

  • This week’s Gifting (KonoSuba) Chapter (11/30) will be moved to Sunday (12/04), as I have an exam this Friday.
  • It is possible that the Gifting Chapter scheduled for 12/28 may be delayed.
  • Akashic Records will continue as usual, as the next 2 chapters (for the coming month) are the last chapter of volume 1, and the prologue of volume 2 and are short enough to have a minimal effect on my studies.

Note: For those that might not be aware, the 3rd chapter of the Continued, Explosion spin-off was released on Sunday, click here to read it! I highly recommend reading this before proceeding with Volume 10 of the main series, as it gives context to Iris’ bodyguard request at the end of Volume 9.

          1. apart from that can you make a tutorial about how you clean the images and the typesetting as in konosuba illustrations??? I really want to learn how it is done. I am a noob hence the videos I found on internet were not much useful.

            1. You won’t be able to reply to this message since it’s over 5 threaded messages, but…

Cleaning and typesetting the color illustrations are mostly a tedious process of redrawing the images (as in, drawing over the original text) and then applying font on top of it. There aren’t any easy ways to do it, so if you’d like to redraw you have to work hard. Each color illustration for this volume took me around 3-4 hours from start to finish.
